November, which used to be known as fall sweeps when Nielsen ratings still counted, kicks off with two major book-to-TV adaptations: Hulu's Black Cake on November 1 and Netflix's All the Light We Cannot See on November 2.
Part one of the sixth and final season of Netflix's award-winning The Crown debuts November 16 and will take on the 1997 death of Princess Diana, a tragedy that's still impacting the royal family today. Other major debuts include the fifth-season return of FX's Fargo – starring Jon Hamm (The Morning Show), Joe Keery (Stranger Things) and Juno Temple (Ted Lasso) – as well as FX's A Murder at the End of the World, starring Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Clive Owen.
Towards the end of the month, TV starts to go full holiday with Thanksgiving movie marathons, 24/7 cable Christmas marathons and animated specials for the whole family, but not before one more literary adaptation with FX's The Artful Dodger on Wednesday, November 29.
