Think you can outplay and outwit your colleagues? Grab your coworkers and industry friends and come play a fun and friendly game of trivia at The Global Entertainment Marketing Academy of Arts & Sciences’ (G.E.M.A.) first member event.
“Marketing Mavericks: A Trivia Throwdown” is taking place at Bodega Wine Bar at 814 Broadway from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. on Monday, April 29. Members are free, while non-members pay $12. Everyone attending gets a ticket for one free drink at the door. The Trivia Throwdown is open to marketers across TV and streaming as well as to marketers in G.E.M.A.’s new verticals of film, music, sports and video games.
The game starts at 6:00 p.m. Prizes – plus bragging rights – will be awarded first, second and third place. The evening is designed to introduce current, new and potential members to each other while enjoying an evening that’s fun, relaxing and maybe a little competitive.
“G.E.M.A. is off and running and we are so excited to show the global community of entertainment marketers everything we have to offer,” said Lydia Albanis, senior manager, membership & programs, G.E.M.A. “This evening of fun, fellowship and trivia is designed to bring people from different disciplines of marketing together to network and connect.”
