NBC’s upcoming 2024 Paris Summer Olympics coverage tops the Promo Mojo ranker for the week ended April 21, making it TV’s most promoted programming. The network also takes second place for Today.
NBC is joined by two fellow traditional broadcasters: ABC, which promotes Good Morning America in third place, and CBS, which hypes its rebroadcast of Billy Joel: The 100th — Live at Madison Square Garden in fourth.
Rounding out the ranking is HGTV, which gives some love to Ugliest House in America in fifth place.
Notably, HGTV's Ugliest House in America gets the highest iSpot Attention Index (119) in the ranking, meaning viewers were on average highly likely to watch its promos all the way through (vs. interrupting viewing by changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).
Brief by G.E.M.A. has partnered with Broadcasting & Cable and iSpot.tv on weekly chart Promo Mojo, offering data revealing the week’s most-promoted programming ranked by TV ad impressions.
