100 days ahead of the start of the Paris Summer Olympics, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) is getting hyped with a new countdown package.
The spot features a motion-graphics package in a bright, summer-inspired palette. Those scenes are entwined with live-action footage of Olympics past, highlighting Canadian Gold-medal winners. The spot’s theme is “City of Light, City of Love” and it paints new portraits of some famous Parisien landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe.

“It's a celebration of style and diversity, where everyone is welcomed,” CBC wrote in an email.
The campaign begins airing across CBC platforms April 17.
