Creative production studio Lobo, which recently launched a live-action division, will represent São Paulo, Brazil-based audiovisual production company Surreal Hotel Arts in the United States in a new strategic partnership between the two companies. The partnership is intended to enhance Lobo’s new live-action division while expanding its roster of directors.

Founded in São Paulo in 2021, Surreal Hotel Arts operates globally, specializing in advertising, branded content and entertainment. Its clients include Apple, PepsiCo, Ambev, Google, Netflix and General Motors.
“I’ve long been a fan of both Surreal Hotel Arts and their founder, Carlao Busato. They have such innovative practices and principles,” said Lobo Managing Partner Luis Ribeiro in a statement. “At Lobo, we’re constantly seeking ways to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation, so our partnership with Surreal represents an exciting opportunity to tap into their talent pool and expertise in live-action production.”
Lobo is welcoming four of Surreal Hotel Arts’ directors to its live-action division: Oriol Barbera, Lu Villaça, Michael Zvegintsev and Carlao Busato, one of Brazil’s most awarded directors.

Already, Lobo and Surreal Hotel Arts have worked together on the “Block Jams” ad for dairy co-op brand Tillamook. Barcelona native Barbera directed the campaign, from which a live-action spot aired during the Super Bowl and featured three TikTok creators.
