ABC, CBS take second, third with game, reality programming.
NBC’s upcoming 2024 Paris Summer Olympics coverage tops the Promo Mojo ranker for the week ended July 21, making it TV’s most promoted programming for the third straight week.
NBC is joined by two fellow traditional broadcasters: ABC, with game show Lucky 13, co-hosted by Shaquille O’Neal and Gina Rodriguez, in second place; and CBS, with summer perennial Big Brother in third.
Rounding out the ranking are two cable networks: Nickelodeon, with Nickelodeon Movie Madness (family-friendly movies airing on Fridays in primetime) in fourth, and HGTV, which builds excitement for 100 Day Dream Home in fifth.
Notably, the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics scores the highest iSpot Attention Index (112) in the ranking, meaning viewers were on average highly likely to watch its promos all the way through (vs. interrupting viewing by changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).
Brief by G.E.M.A. has partnered with Broadcasting & Cable and iSpot.tv on weekly chart Promo Mojo, offering data revealing the week’s most-promoted programming ranked by TV ad impressions.
