Drag queens Sasha Velour, Priyanka, Jaida Essence Hall and Latrice Royale head to Tulsa, Oklahoma and Murfreesboro, Tennessee in season four of HBO’s Emmy, Peabody and GLAAD award-winning series We’re Here.
As the above trailer reveals, things have not gotten any easier for drag queens and people exploring different gender identities as the country remains deeply ideologically split. This season, the queens work with participants in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Tulsa, Oklahoma. They also take an in-depth look at recent anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, and the effect it has had on the community.
“Right now in the world, people who are different are being extremely targeted,” says Hall.
“Our survival is at risk. We have to stand up,” says Royale.
The trailer shows the queens working in to create community connection as well as with people individually to help them feel more comfortable expressing their truest selves.

We’re Here is created and executive produced by Stephen Warren and Johnnie Ingram, directed and executive produced by Peter LoGreco, and executive produced by Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, and Erin Gamble for The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), a part of Sony Pictures Television.
