Carmy (Emmy-winner Jeremy Allen White) is driving everybody crazy with his non-negotiables in the official season three trailer for FX’sThe Bear, which returns exclusively to stream on Hulu on June 27.
When last we left Carmy, he was stressed out and locked into his new restaurant’s walk-in refrigerator during “friends and family night,” in which the staff of The Bear ran the high-end restaurant through its first paces. By the end of the evening, Carmy and Richie (Emmy-winner Ebon Moss-Bachrach) were screaming at each other, Carmy had inadvertently ended his romantic relationship with Claire (Molly Gordon) and Sydney (Emmy-winner Ayo Edebiri) realized she had what it takes to run this type of operation.
Season three starts with the restaurant preparing to open for real and Carmy upping the stress levels for everyone, while the budgetary realities of fine dining make themselves constantly known.
FX is inviting viewers to return to The Bear, which currently is available exclusively on streaming service Hulu, with a special four-night marathon of season one on the network starting Sunday, June 2 and running through Wednesday, June 5.

The Bear, which won the Emmy for best comedy after its first season, is set in a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Chicago, known as The Beef, that was formerly owned by Carmy’s now-deceased brother, Michael (Jon Bernthal). Carmy, a rising culinary star who has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants, has returned to take over and fulfill his own dream of owning and running his own such place. His sister, Natalie (Abby Elliott), is handling the finances while his volatile “cousin,” Richie, has stayed on in a front-of-the-house role. The restaurant’s name, The Bear, is inspired by Carmy and Michael’s last name, Berzatto.
The half-hour series also stars Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas and Matty Matheson, with Oliver Platt and Gordon in recurring roles.
FX’s The Bear was created by Christopher Storer, who acts as executive producer alongside Josh Senior, Joanna Calo, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matheson and Hiro Murai. Courtney Storer serves as a co-executive producer and culinary producer. The series is produced by FX Productions.
