July – typically a month of repeats and reality – gets off to its typical slow start with the long holiday at the beginning of the month, but things pick up later with the returns of Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer, Apple TV Plus' The Afterparty and FX's What We Do in the Shadows.
Later in the month, FX reboots Justified with Justified: City Primeval, starring Timothy Olyphant, while Prime Video and Starz come in with second seasons of Good Omens, starring Michael Sheen, David Tennant and Jon Hamm, and Heels, starring Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig.
