Five LGBTQ+ couples are facing make-it-or-break-it moments in season two of Netflix's reality dating show, The Ultimatum: Queer Love, which debuts May 24.
Among each couple, someone has given an ultimatum – let's get married or end it – and now they've got eight weeks to spend with other compatible people to see if they want to stay together or move on.
The above teaser was first released during Netflix's Love Is Blind live reunion on Sunday, April 16, which ended up being taped when the livestream wouldn't stream.
The teaser, cut by Studio City, Calif.-based The Shop, highlights “dramatic and juicy moments from the series to draw the audience in.” The Shop also lets us into a little secret: “A huge obstacle when editing trailers like this is avoiding spoilers. We can't show who ends up with who so we have to cheat interactions by piecing together dialogue from characters who don't actually pick each other to throw fans off the trail.”
Besides being tricky like that, the teaser also plays on viewers' emotions as they see each couple working through different problems in their relationships.
