Also getting some time in the Super Bowl spotlight were Joel McHale's new comedy Animal Control…
…as well as anthology crime drama The Accused, streaming service Fox Nation, NASCAR's Daytona 500 on Fox Sports; and of course, Gordon Ramsay's Next Level Chef, which scored the coveted post-game slot.
Other TV brands that grabbed some time during the Super Bowl, included streamers Paramount and Peacock.
Super Bowl time is precious, however, going for as high as $7 million per :30, so most of the ad time was slated for bigger brands, including plenty of movie trailers:
The Flash
Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
Fast X
Air
Scream VI
Netflix snuck itself into several ads, most notably spots for General Motors' electric vehicles – with Will Ferrell tripping his way through multiple Netflix properties – and for Michelob Ultra, among other things.
