Scott Pilgrim still has to defeat all of Ramona Flowers' seven evil exes in Netflix's animated sequel to Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. The eight-episode anime version, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, follows the 23-year-old hero (and bass player for rock band Sex Bob-Omb) as he again takes on the evil exes and then some.
Most of the cast from Edgar Wright's 2010 live-action film returns to voice their anime characters. Michael Cera (Barbie) is back as Pilgrim, along with Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ahsoka) as the much longed-after Ramona. Also reprising their roles are Kieran Culkin (Succession) as Wallace Wells, Chris Evans (Captain America, Knives Out) as Lucas Lee, Jason Schwartzman (Asteroid City) as Gideon Graves, Satya Bhabha as Matthew Patel, Brie Larson (Lessons in Chemistry, Captain Marvel) as Natalie V. “Envy” Adams, Aubrey Plaza (The White Lotus, Legion, Parks & Recreation) as Julie Powers, Ellen Wong as Knives Chau, Alison Pill (Devs, Hello Tomorrow!) as Kim Pine, Johnny Simmons as Neil, Mark Webber as Stephen Stills, Brandon Routh as Todd Ingram, Mae Whitman (Good Girls, Parenthood) as Roxie Richter and Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect) as Stacey Pilgrim
