RobMeyers has been promoted to managing director at New York City-based creative studio Versus.
During his eight-year tenure at the company, Meyers has expanded Versus' team threefold by recruiting talent in New York City, Los Angeles and the Midwest and he's set his sights on Brazil as Versus looks to expand internationally. Meyers also has taken a lead in developing a new studio in the Versus family – Versus Originals – which released the film Enter the Slipstream in 2023 with two more coming out in the second half of this year.
“Versus approaches every project holistically, recognizing the equal significance of production strategy and the creative process,” Meyers said in a statement. “By harnessing the collective talent of our team and forging innovative partnerships, we stand ready to revolutionize audience engagement and craft thought-provoking, medium-agnostic creative that leaves an imprint on the cultural landscape.”
Meyers has made several strategic hires to his leadership team, including Kathryn Henderson, executive producer and head of production; Mark Grande, executive producer, originals; Tony Kadillak, executive producer, business strategy; and KC Gulino, executive producer, director of sales.
Versus established an entertainment division in March, and in June, Versus announced a partnership with Pentad to produce creative and oversee production for Pentad's brand clients. In the ten years that Versus has been in business, the studio has worked with such brands as Audible, Disney, Facebook, JBL, Mercedes, NFL, Verizon and more.
