In Netflix's new comedy, Unstable, Rob Lowe (Fox's 9-1-1: Lone Star) stars with his son, John Owen, who has a different name – Jackson Dragon – so as not to confuse America.
The father-son team together created the new comedy about a creative and possibly insane tech genius, Ellis Dragon (Rob Lowe), and his more stable and very fed-up son.

In the above trailer, Rob does a good job of revealing what his chaotic character will be like, while clearly annoying John Owen,
“It's about a father-son dynamic that is really relatable but under a really specific lens, which is a father who loves being the center of attention and a son who feels the exact opposite,” John Owen explains. “Father-son stuff – don't get me started.”
Unstable, which the Lowes co-created with Santa Clarita Diet's Victor Fresco, also stars Sian Clifford, Rachel Marsh, Emma Ferreira and Aaron Branch. It premieres Thursday, March 30 on Netflix.
