NBC Sports' College Football tops the Promo Mojo ranker for the week ended September 3, making it TV's most promoted programming.
The University of Colorado, led by Coach Deion “Prime Time” Sanders in his first year of college coaching, is expected to draw plenty of viewers after beating last year's national runner-up, Texas Christian University, in the team's first outing with its new coach. This week, CU takes on its long-time rival, the University of Nebraska, which lost its first game to the University of Minnesota on August 31.
Traditional broadcast networks snagged the edge this week. Besides NBC, ABC promoted The Golden Bachelor to third place and Dancing With the Stars to fourth.
Rounding out the ranking are two cable networks: MTV, which gives some love to the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in second place, and TBS, which promotes American Dad in fifth.
Notably, The Golden Bachelor has the highest iSpot Attention Index (111) in the ranking, meaning viewers were on average highly likely to watch its promos all the way through (vs. interrupting viewing by changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).
Brief by Promax has partnered with Broadcasting & Cable and iSpot.tv on weekly chart Promo Mojo, offering data revealing the week's most-promoted programming ranked by TV ad impressions.
