Dexter and Ed are back at their jobs at a fictional fast-food chain in Paramount Plus' Good Burger 2. Nickelodeon, the cable network on which the film originated, collaborated with Studio City, Calif.-based The Shop to produce the above teaser trailer.
Good Burger 2, which was announced in March, got its start as a sketch on Nickelodeon's All That and was spun off into a relatively successful 1997 film.
Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell star as Dexter and Ed along with Lil Rel Howery, Jillian Bell, Kamaia Fairburn, Alex R. Hibbert, Fabrizio Guido, Elizabeth Hinkler and Emily Hinkler as Cindy and Mindy, and Anabel Graetz as Ruth. The film also features original Good Burger cast members Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg and Carmen Electra.
Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, who co-wrote the original film and worked on All That, serve as writers and executive producers. It's also executive produced by John Ryan Jr. of Artists for Artists. James III also worked as a writer on the film, which was directed by Phil Traill. Thompson and Mitchell are both producers.
Good Burger 2 is produced by Nickelodeon Studios with Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin, co-heads of Nickelodeon & Awesomeness Live-Action, overseeing production. Brittany Cope is Nickelodeon's executive in charge of production.
