In season three of Hulu's Emmy-nominated Only Murders in the Building, Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) find themselves again investigating a murder -- except this time it's outside of the building -- when a Hollywood star, Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd), suddenly dies on stage of the Broadway play Oliver is directing.
Charles, Oliver and Mabel are aided by Glenroy's co-star (or murderer?) Loretta Dunkin (Meryl Streep), who, p.s., is “a stinkaroonie,” according to Glenroy just after she demolishes a Scottish (?) accent. Oliver, meanwhile, agrees to return to the trio's true-crime podcast but he also just wants to put his show back together.
Only Murders in the Building, which is nominated for 11 Primetime Emmys, comes from co-creators and writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman (Grace & Frankie, Looking). Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Short, Gomez, This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.
Season three of Only Murders in the Building premieres August 8 on Hulu, with two episodes available at launch.
