To celebrate one of the few new scripted series to premiere this fall, NBC's The Irrational, the network is partnering with food-delivery app Gopuff to deliver snacks for fans.
Inspired by TikTok trend “Girl Dinner,” in which women showed off the assortment of snacks they noshed on for supper when no one else was around, the offering includes such items as chips, chocolate, a pickle, macaroni and cheese, popcorn, jerky and soft drinks. It will be available in select areas in such cities as New York, Philadelphia and Chicago on the Gopuff app or website starting Monday, September 25 at 2 p.m. ET while supplies last. The snack pack comes as a gift with any order or $12.95 or more. Orders that total less than that can still snag the gift for a $4.95 fee.
The “Girl Dinner” concept for The Irrational's premiere was created by NBC in partnership with NVE Experience Agency.
The Irrational stars Jesse L. Martin (Law & Order, The Flash) as professor of behavioral scientist Alec Mercer who lends his unique expertise to governments, law enforcement and corporations on an array of high-stakes cases. The cast also includes Maahra Hill, Travina Springer, Molly Kunz and Arash DeMaxi.
Arika Lisanne Mittman, Mark Goffman, Sam Baum and David Frankel executive produce. The show is based on best-selling author Dan Ariely's book, Predictably Irrational. The show is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
The Irrational premieres Monday, September 25 at 10/9 c on NBC and will stream the next day on Peacock.
