Michael Fassbender is a cold-blooded assassin who has everything under control until he doesn't in Netflix's The Killer, directed by David Fincher (Mank, The Social Network, Se7en).
Netflix on Tuesday dropped the teaser trailer, which is marked by choppy, anxiety-inducing editing and jolting soundtrack. The Killer is based on the graphic-novel series by Alexis Nolent and Luc Jacamon. Besides Fassbender, it also stars Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte and Tilda Swinton. Andrew Kevin Walker, who previously worked with Fincher on Se7en, adapted the graphic novels for the screen.
The movie is going to premiere Sunday, September 3 in competition at the Venice International Film Festival. It debuts in select theaters on Friday, October 27 and launches on Netflix on Friday, November 10.
