London-based sound and music production company Machine has launched studios in New York Cith to handle its US-based business, the company announced.
The NYC-based team will be led by executive producer Matej Oreskovic and senior sound designer and mixer Michalis Anthis. Oreskovic joined Machine in London in 2018, leading the company's evolution from boutique studio to transatlantic audio company. Anthis comes to Machine with more than ten years of experience in sound design, composition and mixing at such shops as Big Kahuna and 750mph. He's worked for such brands as Samsung, Rapha, the Winter Olympics, McDonald's, Delta Airlines, Oakley and Lurpak.
“I have been a fan of Michalis' work for some time now,” said Oreskovic in a statement, “and I'm thrilled we finally have a chance to work together. After a week in the studios it felt like everyone knew each other for years. We have a brand new space, a young ambitious team and passion for our craft! We can't wait to roll up our sleeves and show what we can bring to the table.”
