Kasha Cacy has been named chief media officer at Known, starting her new position in March. Cacy, who joins Known from Big Village Group (formerly Engine) where she was the first global CEO, will lead the agency's global media practice, which it is currently building out and expanding. She also will manage Known's proprietary analytics platform Skeptic, which uses artificial intelligence and predictive algorithms to help Known plan and evaluate campaigns.
Before joining Big Village, Cacy spent more than a decade at Interpublic's media agency UM, rising to become U.S. CEO. While she was there, she converted the agency's media planning and buying structure into one more driven by data and analytics.
Cacy will be based in New York City and report to Known Chairman and CEO Kern Schireson. In the media space, Known works with such clients as Sesame Workshop, AMC Networks, Paramount and Shake Shack.
