Joshua Rogers has been named vice president, TV and streaming at creative marketing agency Zealot.
He joins the agency – which has offices in London, Los Angeles and New York – after spending 15 years at Los Angeles-based Buddha Jones. (Buddha Jones was Promax's 2021 North America Agency of the Year, while Zealot nabbed that honor in 2022.)
While at Buddha Jones, most recently as head of TV and streaming, Rogers oversaw campaigns for such series as Disney Plus' The Mandalorian, Prime Video's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Boys, FX's Fargo and The Americans, Netflix's Emily in Paris, HBO's Silicon Valley and Girls and USA Network's Mr. Robot. He also oversaw brand image and launch campaigns for Disney Plus, FX on Hulu, AMC Plus and HBO Max.
“Joshua came to us at a time when we were looking to expand our TV and streaming division in a rapidly changing marketplace,” said Richard Melé, who was recently upped to senior vice president of TV and streaming at Zealot, in a statement to Deadline.com, which first broke the story. “His distinctive work cuts through the clutter and his incredible range of skills have combined to make him the go-to choice, not only to launch the biggest shows, but entire networks. I look forward to working with him every day.”
