If football isn't really your thing, Animal Planet is returning with its always adorable Puppy Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday, complete with a Halftime Kitty show to satisfy almost all types of furry pet owners.
For the first time, the Puppy Bowl won't just air on Animal Planet and Discovery Plus, but will be simulcast across other Warner Bros. Discovery networks Discovery Channel, TBS and HBO Max as well.

Puppy Bowl XIX features 122 puppies from 67 shelters across 34 U.S. states, showcasing more puppies, shelters, rescues and adoption stories than ever before. Team Ruff will take on Team Fluff in Puppy Bowl stadium in their respective bids for the Wayfair “Lombarky” trophy.
Like last year, Animal Planet is working with multiple partners, including such brands as Pooch Perks, Bark Social, Val Pak, Southwest Airlines, Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co., and Georgetown Cupcake. Additionally, Puppy Bowl fans can interact with Comedy Central's The Daily Show @DailyShowDogs, WeRateDogs, Georgia Aquarium and Los Angeles-based animal shelter Paw Works.
“For almost 20 years, Puppy Bowl has long been the biggest celebration of pet adoption. Now fueled by the power of Warner Bros. Discovery, the event is bigger than ever,” said Karen Bronzo, chief marketing officer, U.S. Networks Group, Warner Bros. Discovery, in a statement. “Simulcast across five different brands and platforms, consumers and partners alike have more opportunities to be a part of Puppy Bowl both on and off the screen.
Both Puppy Bowl XIX and the Kitty Halftime show, featuring guest appearances from Furry Anna and DJ Whiskers, are intended to raise awareness for adopting shelter puppies and kittens and helping them to find their fur-ever homes.
Puppy Bowl XIX is produced for Animal Planet by Bright Spot Content, an All3Media America company.
