While Groot progresses from toddler to pouty teenager in Guardians of the Galaxy, vol. 3 (which arrived in Disney Plus on August 2), he remains forever an adorable baby in Disney Plus' series of shorts, I Am Groot.

Vin Diesel returns to voice the twigling as he explores the universe aboard the Guardians' spaceships, discovering all new creatures and environments.

The series is written and directed by Kirsten Lepore. Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Lepore executive produce, while Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt is co-executive producer. Danielle Costa is supervising producer. Craig Rittenbaum and Alex Scharf produce. 

Season two of I Am Groot premieres September 6 on Disney Plus.
