FX Networks – marketing such shows as Pistol, Mayans M.C., American Horror Stories and more – is the Promax North America Marketing Team of the Year for the second straight year, it was announced Thursday during Promax's virtual presentation of the 2023 Promax North American and Latin America Awards. FX stepped aside in 2021 when Comedy Central won this award. Prior to that, FX prevailed as Marketing Team of the Year for ten consecutive years.

Los Angeles-based AV Squad was named Agency of the Year. In 2022, Zealot, which made the shortlist again this year, won this award, while Buddha Jones snagged this honor in 2021.
Marketing Team and Agency of the Year awards are bestowed upon the teams who accrue the most points through gold, silver and bronze wins in the overall competition.
On Thursday, Promax also announced the winners of its 2023 Latin America awards competition, with such companies as Globo, GYB Creative and Torneos winning awards. See the full list of those winners here.
The 2023 Promax Spark Student Awards also were announced on Thursday.
FX Networks took gold, silver and bronze awards across several categories, including gold for the Total Program Package for Pistol, a mini-series on iconic UK punk band, The Sex Pistols:

In fact, FX swept this category, taking silver for the season two campaign for Reservation Dogs, and bronze for the season two campaign for American Horror Stories, as well as two finalist slots for the debut season of Ryan Reynolds' and Rob McElhenny's Welcome to Wrexham and season three of Donald Glover's Atlanta.

FX also swept the categories of Best Program Promo – winning gold, silver and bronze for spots produced for Mayans M.C, Atlanta and American Horror Stories, respectively – and best in-house program promo, with spots for The Bear, Pistol and The Old Man.
And the cable network and programming service won gold for its in-house program campaign for Welcome to Wrexham:
FX also won awards in many other categories.
AV Squad won awards in such categories as key art: poster campaign, where it received gold for its season-one work on HBO's House of the Dragon:
It also scored silver for its trailer for CNN documentary Navalny:
Other winners included Denver-based Spillt, which took gold for its main titles for HBO Max's three-part docuseries Low Country:

MTV won gold in the category of diversity awareness campaign for its 2022 short film honoring Juneteenth:
