Freeform's month-long programming event, “31 Nights of Halloween” returns October 1 for its 25th anniversary of airing spooky movies from time-honored classics to modern favorites.

This year, Disney's animated musical Encanto joins the line-up along with Zombies and Zombies 2. “31 Nights of Halloween” also offers such favorites as Hocus Pocus, Monsters Inc., The Nightmare Before Christmas, Cruella, The Addams Family and more.

“Over the last 25 years, our viewers have grown up with ‘31 Nights of Halloween' as a time-honored tradition to watch Halloween favorites and connect with their loved ones during this special time of the season,” said Simran Sethi, EVP of programming and content strategy, ABC Entertainment and Freeform, in a statement. “There's something sentimental about these holiday classics that brings a real sense of comfort and nostalgia to people, and we look forward to celebrating this anniversary with another spirited lineup.”

Last year, Freeform was the top-ranked cable network in primetime among adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49 during the month-long programming event that runs October 1 through October 31.
