In a big twist on the traditional dinner-party murder mystery, a reclusive billionaire (Clive Owen) invites nine guests to his remote retreat in what looks to be the far north in FX's A Murder at the End of the World. While they are there, one of the guests is found dead. Now Gen Z amateur sleuth and hacker Darby Hart (Emma Corrin, The Crown) must try to prove it was murder and identify the killer before another life is lost – including her own.
The trailer, which is set to a haunted version of Depeche Mode's “Strangelove,” shows Darby in several locations with many different hairstyles. Besides Corrin and Owen, the series also stars Harris Dickinson, Brit Marling, Alice Braga, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Ryan J. Haddad, Pegah Ferydoni, Javed Khan, Louis Cancelmi, Edoardo Ballerini, Britian Seibert, Christopher Gurr, Kellan Tetlow, Daniel Olson and Neal Huff.
FX's A Murder at the End of the World is a seven-episode limited series created, written and directed by Marling and Zal Batmanglij, who also executive produce alongside Andrea Sperling, Melanie Marnich and Nicki Paluga. Marnich and Rebecca Roanhorse also wrote. The series is produced by FX Productions.
FX's A Murder at the End of the World premieres Tuesday, November 14 on Hulu.
