​“The Capitol has been breached!”

Streaming service Discovery Plus partnered with AlterEgo to conceptualize, design, write, produce and edit a trailer and corresponding promos for the world premiere of January 6th, a new, feature-length film that chronicles the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The documentary first started streaming on Thursday, January 5, 2023, the eve of that event's one-year anniversary. The two-and-a-half hour film, which contains more than 50 first-hand interviews with members of Congress and Capitol police officers, was created by Emmy Award-winning filmmakers Gédéon and Jules Naudet.

The team at AlterEgo extracted quotes from the film's personal testimonies and pulled moments of footage, distilling both into the above trailer. AlterEgo also created the film's 3D title cards and end page.
