In 1977, renowned rock band, Daisy Jones and the Six, suddenly quit at the height of their popularity with lead singer Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin) walking out in the middle of a sold-out show at Chicago's Soldier Field. The band never explained why – until now.

Based on Taylor Jenkins Reid's best-selling novel, Daisy Jones and the Six tells the story of a band that skyrockets when Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) shows up. The chemistry between Daisy and Billy are what propels the band forward, but it's hard for Daisy, Billy and Billy's wife, Camila (Camila Morrone), to handle. Meanwhile, the rest of the band – Will Harrison as Graham Dunne, Suki Waterhouse as Karen Sirko, Josh Whitehouse as Eddie Roundtree and Sebastian Chacon as Warren Rojas – is left looking on, wondering what this love triangle is going to mean for them.

Daisy Jones & The Six comes from Amazon Studios and Hello Sunshine. It's executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine and Brad Mendelsohn for Circle of Confusion. Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber created the series based on the novel by Jenkins Reid, who also produces. Scott Neustadter is executive producing and co-showrunning with Will Graham, who also serves as an executive producer. James Ponsoldt directed the first five episodes and serves as an executive producer, Nzingha Stewart directed four of the remaining episodes, and Graham directed one. The series will feature all original songs written and produced by Blake Mills with co-writers.

Daisy Jones & The Six premieres Friday, March 3 on Prime Video.
