Chip and Joanna Gaines – destruction and design mavens, respective – take on their biggest project yet in their new series Fixer Upper: The Hotel.
The couple worked to turn a nearly 100-year-old historic building near their Magnolia Market complex in Waco, Texas, into the boutique Hotel 1928. To do it, they partnered with transformative hospitality company Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners.
The hotel opened this fall with 33 guest rooms, three food and beverage outlets, a two-story library created from a coal hold, more than 6,600 square feet of event space and a rooftop terrace.
Fixer Upper: The Hotel is a six-episode half-hour series produced by the Gaines' production company, Blind Nil. It debuts Wednesday, November 8 at 9/8 c on Magnolia Network. It streams the same day on Max.
