Design-driven production studio Ataboy is expanding to Boston, with Executive Producers Ned Biddle and Nick Sterling leading the new office.
“Boston has always been known for its close-knit community of creatives characterized by great regional brands and a communal working ethos,” Biddle and Sterling said in a joint statement.
“This move to Boston makes so much sense on multiple levels. There has always been a creative synergy between Boston and New York City, and it feels like a natural fit for us,” said Ataboy Founder and Executive Creative Director Vikkal Parikh, also in a statement.
The expansion to Boston aligns with Ataboy's goal of being an inclusive content partner capable of hyper-local production in various markets. Ataboy's New York City studio specializes in design, animation, visual effects, edit and color, while its Brooklyn studio focuses on table-top production.
Ataboy has worked on campaigns for such brands as Adidas, Coke, White Castle, Progressive, Ikea and General Electric. In the past year, it produced the series A Portrait of an Athlete, starring Olympic athlete Natoya Goule and New York City-based graffiti artist Sen2 and directed by Corydon Wagner.
"We've already collaborated on several successful campaigns with director Corydon Wagner, so this expansion is truly the continuation of an excellent and prosperous relationship,” Parikh concluded.
