Coming off of three Golden Globe wins and a season-three renewal for comedy Abbott Elementary, Craig Erwich, president, ABC Entertainment, Hulu and Disney Branded Television Streaming Originals addressed the winter gathering of the Television Critics Association at the Langham-Huntington Hotel in Pasadena on Thursday.

“If we've learned anything from the last year, it's that broadcast remains a powerful medium – a destination where community is built and conversation matters – and that makes us truly proud,” said Erwich.

ABC is seeing some success with new crime drama Will Trent, based on the best-selling novels by Karin Slaughter, which premiered as ABC's most-watched series debut this season.

Coming soon to the network is new comedy Not Dead Yet, starring Gina Rodriguez, on Wednesday, February 8, which is paired with the premiere of the final season of A Million Little Things. New drama The Company You Keep, a Korean export that stars and is executive produced by This Is Us' Milo Ventimiglia, who brought much of the This Is Us crew with him to his new show, premieres Sunday, February 19.

Also departing this season is Ellen Pompeo from Grey's Anatomy, on which she has starred as the title character, Meredith Grey, through all of the series' 19 seasons.

ABC also is continuing to build a deep roster of game shows, with an order for Jeopardy! Masters, featuring six of the game's recent big winners. It also has added new series Claim to Fame, hosted by Kevin and Frankie Jonas, and picked up new seasons of Celebrity Family Feud, hosted by Steve Harvey, and Press Your Luck, starring and executive produced by Elizabeth Banks.
