Based on Holly Ringland's best-selling debut novel, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, Prime Video's seven-part limited series digs into the story of Alice Hart, who is orphaned at aged nine when her parents die in a mysterious fire.

Set to Fleetwood Mac's “Dreams” and edited with increasing tension, the above trailer outlines the story of Hart coming to live with her grandmother, June (Sigourney Weaver, who also executive produces), on her flower farm after her parents' death. There, she learns that her past is complicated and that her family kept many secrets. Her journey builds to an emotional climax when she finds herself fighting for her life against a man she loves.

Besides Weaver, Asher Keddie, Leah Purcell, Frankie Adams and Alycia Debnam-Carey – as Alice Hart – also star.

Other cast members include Alexander England, Charlie Vickers, Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Sebastián Zurita, Alyla Browne and Xavier Samuel.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is produced by Amazon Studios, Made Up Stories and Fifth Season. It's executive produced by Jodi Matterson, Bruna Papandrea and Steve Hutensky of Made Up Stories, as well as Weaver, Sarah Lambert and Glendyn Ivin. Made Up Stories also produced such shows as HBO's The Undoing, starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant, and Hulu's Nine Perfect Strangers. Papandrea previously worked with Reese Witherspoon on such productions as Gone Girl and HBO's Big Little Lies. 

Ivin directs all seven episodes while Lambert serves as showrunner.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart debuts with the first three episodes released in more than 240 countries and territories on August 4 on Prime Video.
