USA Network’s new reality show based on deceit premiered Monday, August 19.
USA Network’s new reality competition The Anonymous tops the Promo Mojo ranker for the week ended Aug. 18, making it TV’s most promoted show.
Cable networks dominate the chart, with USA joined by Fox News, which promotes its Democratic National Convention coverage in second place; MTV, which hypes The Challenge (billed as The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras this season) in third; and HGTV, which gives some love to 100 Day Hotel Challenge in fourth.
Rounding out the ranking is CBS, which is working to boost Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show as it broadcasts live from the DNC in Chicago this week, in fifth place.
Notably, Fox News scores the highest iSpot Attention Index (122) in the ranking, meaning viewers were on average highly likely to watch its DNC coverage promos all the way through (vs. interrupting viewing by changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).
Spotlight by G.E.M.A. has partnered with Broadcasting & Cable and iSpot.tv on weekly chart Promo Mojo, offering data revealing the week’s most-promoted programming ranked by TV ad impressions.
