Slaying demons is a gory business, Hub Halloran (Kevin Bacon) quickly learns in Prime Video’s new series, The Bondsman.
Halloran wasn’t exactly living on the straight and narrow when he died and found himself in Hell. But he’s been given a second chance by the Devil as long as he continues to trap and send back demons who have escaped the fiery prison of Hell. In the meantime, Halloran’s also chasing the demons he ignored in his first go-round. And with both the help and hindrance of his estranged family, he learns how his own sins condemned his soul.
Besides Bacon, the series also stars Jennifer Nettles, Damon Herriman, Beth Grant, Maxwell Jenkins and Jolene Purdy.
The series comes from Blumhouse Television, Marker 96, CrimeThink Production Company and Amazon MGM Studios. Executive producers include Erik Oleson, who also serves as showrunner, Jason Blum, Jeremy Gold, Chris Dickie, and Chris McCumber for Blumhouse Television; Kevin Bacon, Paul E. Shapiro, and Grainger David, who created the series. Erik Holmberg serves as co-executive producer.
All eight episodes of The Bondsman drop on Prime Video on April 3.
