Promo Mojo: Fox’s ‘Rescue: HI-Surf’ tops the NFL on NBC
INTROSTORYGALLERYCREDITS
Games are all the rage in week ended September 8 with ‘The Voice’, ‘Survivor’ joining the ranker.

Fox’s new action drama (and Baywatch lookalike) Rescue: HI-Surf tops the Promo Mojo ranker for the week ended September 8, making it TV’s most promoted show.

The network is joined by two fellow traditional broadcasters: NBC, which hypes NFL Football in second place and The Voice in fourth, and CBS, which promotes Survivor in fifth.

Rounding out the chart is MTV, which builds excitement for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards — airing tonight (September 11) — in third place. Megan Thee Stallion is hosting the show and Eminem is opening.

Notably, the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards scores the highest iSpot Attention Index (108) in the ranking, meaning viewers were on average highly likely to watch its promos all the way through (vs. interrupting viewing by changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).

Spotlight by G.E.M.A. has partnered with Broadcasting & Cable and iSpot.tv on weekly chart Promo Mojo, offering data revealing the week’s most-promoted programming ranked by TV ad impressions.
