Discovery’s Shark Week, which runs through Saturday, Aug. 1, tops the Promo Mojo ranker for the week ended July 26, making it TV’s most promoted programming for the second week in a row.
Discovery is joined on the list by four fellow cable networks: CNN, which promotes its original series Decades in Sports in second place; HGTV, which builds excitement for Roast My Rental in third; TBS, which gives some love to Impractical Jokers in fourth; and Food Network, which whets appetites for The Great Food Truck Race in fifth.
No traditional broadcast networks made the top five this week.
Notably, Decades in Sports scores the highest iSpot Attention Index (133) in the ranking, meaning viewers were on average highly likely to watch its promos all the way through (vs. interrupting viewing by changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).
