Oreo is getting personal as it collabs with pop and country star Post Malone to offer Oreo cookies with a custom flavor combination and nine unique embossments. Taking that a step further, starting in early February, Oreo is inviting fans to discover their custom Oreo cookie flavor with the Taste Twist Digital Experience.
Malone’s cookie combo features a first-of-its-kind swirled creme that combines salted caramel and shortbread flavors sandwiched between an Oreo chocolate cookie and a golden cookie. The cookies are embossed with images significant to Malone and include a personal message from the musician on each package.
"Can't believe they let me make my own Oreo cookie. So happy everyone gets to try the taste twist — hope you love it as much as I do, 'cause I think it's the best Oreo ever!" said Malone in a statement. "It's the first time Oreo has ever twisted the creme of the cookie and they named it after me."
Malone has become known for his collaborations – he has performed songs with such artists as Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Morgan Wallen, Noah Kahan, Doja Cat, The Weeknd, 21 Savage, Luke Combs and more. He’s also won acclaim for performing, writing and producing across multiple musical dramas, including hip-hop, R&B, pop, country and trap.
In 2024, he released his sixth album, F-1 Trillion, which was his third non-consecutive number-one release on Billboard’s music charts. Consistent with his previous releases, the album features popular musicians such as Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton and Jelly Roll. Malone received seven Grammy nominations this year, including “Best Country Album,” “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” and “Best Country Song.” The Grammys air live Sunday, February 2 at 6 p.m. PT on CBS and Paramount Plus.
Malone also has previously collaborated with other brands, including Crocs, Doritos and Bud Light.
Limited Edition Post Malone Oreo Cookie Packs will be available for pre-sale starting January 27, but fans can sign up for early access starting Wednesday at Oreo.com/UnwrapTheCollab. Retailers will start offering the cookie on February 3 and they will only be available for a limited time.
Fans will be able to reveal their very own Oreo flavor with the Taste Twist Digital Experience, which is part of the Oreo Taste Twist Sweepstakes. Starting early February through March 31, fans can input their musical sound, vibe and rhythm at UnwrapTheCollab and let the algorithm reveal their personalized cookie flavor combo. They can then share their custom cookie flavor combo and enter for a chance to receive a pack of those cookies and other prizes.
