What makes G.E.M.A.’s TV/Streaming Awards -- Global so much fun is that they highlight work from all around the world – work that is hard to see unless you are in that region. Watching them is like taking a brief trip to a place you might not otherwise ever get to go.

G.E.M.A. on Tuesday released the nominees for the 2024 TV/Streaming Awards -- Global. Among the nominated categories are Brand Design Total Package, Brand Image - Rebrand, Refresh or Relaunch, Opening Title Credits and many more, the nominees for all of which can be seen here

Below are the six nominees in the category of Brand Design Promo, coming from such places as India, the Middle East and Denmark.

Nickelodeon Brand Anthem, Viacom18 Media Pvt Ltd, (Nick-India)

Nick India’s 3D animated characters join their live-action friends in a virtual party that gets more and more energetic as it goes along.

Asharq Business with Bloomberg Image Spot "Touchpoints", Asharq Network

Taking a turn to the more serious, Arabic-language news and entertainment network, Asharq, partnered with Bloomberg for this image spot on how Bloomberg brings regional residents the news of the day.

Magical World Of Disney Ident, Disney Star

India’s Disney Star celebrates The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary using starry graphics that flow into various iconic images from the Disney archives.

Non-Stop Sports, MBC Group

MBC Group, covering the Middle East and North Africa, promotes its sports offerings to viewers using 3D stop motion animation in which fields of play shift into the face of a watch.

India’s Shemaroo Entertainment unpacks all of its many entertainment offerings in this crafted spot. 

Fight cancer: Everyone knows someone, TV 2 Denmark

TV 2 Denmark is back at the top of the competition with its ongoing campaign, Fight Cancer. The campaign has won many Promax, now G.E.M.A., awards in the past, particularly in the Promax Europe competition. In 2023, the campaign focused on how all kinds of people have had someone they love be affected by cancer. 

The nominees for G.E.M.A.’s 2024 TV/Streaming Awards – Global were selected by a jury of entertainment marketers from around the world who met virtually to judge the submissions. This year’s panel included:

– Pam Mangat , executive producer, BBC Studios

– Peter Mihola, creative lead, Warner Bros Discovery
