Mark Valentine has joined Northern Lights Agency as executive creative director. Across his time in the industry, he has worked as creative director, editor, director, designer, writer and producer.
“Now, more than ever, entertainment brands are in need of new ways to define and differentiate themselves,” said Valentine in a statement. “Creating meaningful connections with today’s audiences is a constantly moving target that requires fresh ideas and innovative approaches.”

Valentine joins Northern Lights from Ultrabland, where he developed campaigns and trailers for leading networks and streaming platforms. Prior to Ultrabland, he co-founded the successful creative agency Anatomy Media and has served in creative leadership roles at Lee Hunt Associates/Razorfish and Leroy & Clarkson. He is also widely known for hosting Promax’s annual “Hot Spot” sessions, showcasing the industry’s most innovative work.
In his new role, Valentine will oversee marketing campaigns for a wide range of network and streaming partners, working across the Northern Lights Family’s integrated editorial, design, production, and audio teams to deliver high-impact, bespoke work.

Valentine’s recent work includes national campaigns for the Apple TV Peacock bundle and BBC’s streaming platform BritBox, as well as projects for Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus, Hulu, HBO Max, Paramount Plus, National Geographic and Sesame Workshop.
