Series, hosted by Ashley Williams, starts streaming January 2 on Hallmark Plus.

It was bound to happen: Hallmark is entering the reality dating show game with its new show, Small Town Setup, hosted by Ashley Williams.

In each episode, a different set of parents agrees to set up their adult children – who of course live successful lives in big cities but have not found their one true love. The parents will reach out to their friends and neighbors to find three potential matches for their son or daughter curated by their hometown.

“People might actually fall in love,” Williams says in the trailer. “It’s like a Hallmark movie, but real.”

When the adult child returns home for a visit, they will go on dates with these three selected suitors. And the audience waits with bated breath to learn whether they will find love or head back home alone?

Small Town Setup premieres January 2 on streaming service Hallmark Plus.
