Barry Keoghan Heads to the Pitch for Manchester United, Adidas
INTROSTORYGALLERYCREDITS
Brand film promotes team’s new kit as well as football fandom.

Manchester United and Adidas teamed up on the above short film allegedly to promote the legendary club’s new kit, but the piece, starring Irish actor and mega-soccer fan Barry Keoghan, is really more of an ode to the Beautiful Game.

Scored to Underworld’s ‘90s anthem, “Born Slippy,” the film sees Keoghan, dressed in Manchester’s uniform, head out to the pitch to watch both the men’s and women’s teams. Keoghan is accompanied in the film by some famous Manchester United stars, such as current Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, former manager and player Bryan Robson and left-back Luke Shaw, among others.

The film is produced by creative agency Homeground and director Tom Day of Pulse Films
