‍‍The Peacock Theater is home to the American Music Awards, ESPYs, Primetime Emmy Awards and BET Awards... and now, in 2024, the GEMA Awards!

We gathered to celebrate groundbreaking work and the talent from North America, Latin America, Local markets, and our prestigious Global Awards. The event provided an opportunity to connect with industry peers, honor the best in entertainment marketing, and ignite creativity with fresh, inspiring ideas.

The venue delivered a uniquely intimate and immersive setting for all attendees. With teams celebrating together at dedicated tables, the event fostered a true sense of community.

To cap off the evening, attendees enjoyed an exclusive Industry Bash and Celebration at Lucky Strike at L.A. Live , within walking distance of the theater. It was the perfect way to continue the evening, with a night of fun, camaraderie, and entertainment, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

Ron Funches

Ron Funches is a national treasure. He is an accomplished stand-up comedian, actor and writer. Ron has had many memorable television roles including THE GOLDBERGS, BLACKISH, NEW GIRL, TRANSPARENT, SINGLE DRUINK FEMALE, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, POWERLESS and UNDATEABLE. You can currently catch him on LOOT on Apple TV+.

Ron has also co-starred in many feature films such as GET HARD alongside Will Ferrell, LEXI, NOELLE, 6 UNDERGROUND and 80 FOR BRADY .
Ron has a love of animated television and film and has leant his voice to many projects including DreamWorks’ TROLLS, Pixar’s INSIDE OUT 2, IVAN THE GREAT, HARLEY QUINN, BOB’S BURGERS, ADVENTURE TIME, FINAL SPACE, THE GREAT NORTH and many more.

Ron also does a lot of philanthropic work; He volunteers regularly for SCHOOL ON WHEELS and HILARITY FOR CHARITY and he designed sneakers for PUMA/FOOTLOCKER where proceeds go to NEXT FOR AUTISM.

This information will ensure an enjoyable experience for you and your guests at Peacock Theater for the 2024 GEMA Awards Ceremony.

What do I get with my ticket?

This ticket includes the Awards Ceremony and access to the Industry Bash & Celebration. You must have an Awards Ceremony ticket to attend the Industry Bash & Celebration. Tickets not sold separately.

When should I arrive?

Check-in starts at 6:00 PM PT. Guests must bring IDs to check in and are encouraged to arrive as early as possible, as all guests will go through metal detector screenings and visual/bag inspections prior to entry.

Where do I check-in for the Awards Ceremony?

Check-in tables will be located outside the Peacock Theater main entrance, adjacent to the Lazy Dog Restaurant.

Do I need to recheck in for the Industry Bash & Celebration?

You will receive your Industry Social & Bash wristband when you check in at the Peacock Theater for the Awards Ceremony. You will be asked to show your wristband upon entry. All guests will be wanded upon entry into Lucky Strike.

Do I have to be 21 yrs or older to attend this event?

No this event is open to everyone, However, we will be checking IDs at the door, so make sure you bring yours.

Am I allowed to leave the Awards Ceremony and come back?

Peacock Theater has a No Re-Entry policy for all events. After the awards ceremony, head over to Lucky Strike at L.A. Live for the Industry Bash & Celebration.

Where are the closest parking lots as well as accessible parking?

Where is the best place to drop off if I am not driving?

Please obey all posted signs when dropping off and be aware that LAPD will enforce the “No Stopping” signs posted throughout the district. There are areas designated for drop-off and pick-up. Taxis, Buses and Limousines must drop-off and pick-up passengers in these designated areas. The pick-up/drop-off areas are:

The white zone on Figueroa St. (Southbound) between 12th St. and Pico.
The white zone on Chick Hearn Ct. (Eastbound) between L.A. Live Way and Georgia St.

Are bags allowed inside Peacock Theater?

Yes! Bags that are smaller than 14”x14”x6” will be permitted inside Peacock Theater. Backpacks of any size and all bags larger than 14”x14”x6” are not allowed.
