The team at London-based design and live-action studio Momoco, led by director Nic Benns, plays with light, shadows and shapes in these cool blue-tinted main titles for BBC One and HBO Max’s four-part thriller The Girl Before.

Based on the novel by J.P. Delaney, who created and executive produced the show as well, the series stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Loki, The Morning Show), David Oyelowo, Jessica Plummer and Ben Hardy. In the series, Jane (Mbatha-Raw) becomes enthralled with a minimalistic house designed by Edward (Oyelowo) and moves in, but soon learns that the house hides secrets tied to the prior tenants.
